Everything is free. Pro just buys more coach.

Logging, plans, HIIT, progress, reminders, sharing and export cost nothing to run, so they cost nothing to use — on every plan, forever. The AI coach is the one part with a real bill behind it, so that is the only thing Pro changes.

Free

Free

The whole app, and enough coaching to train on.

  • Every feature: guided sessions, HIIT, progress, reminders, sharing, export
  • AI coach — plans, weekly reviews and session changes
  • Sync across all your devices
  • No card, no trial clock

Pro

$5/month

For when the coach becomes how you train, not something you try.

  • More than three times the daily coach messages
  • Long planning conversations without watching a counter
  • Everything in Free, unchanged
  • Cancel anytime — you keep Pro until the period you paid for ends

The things worth saying plainly

Nothing was taken away to make Pro.

The free allowance is exactly what a signed-in account had before Pro existed. No feature moved behind the paywall, and none will — if a feature costs nothing to serve, charging for it is just a toll booth.

Why the coach is the thing that costs.

Every coach message runs a real model that Anthropic bills for. Your logs, plans and charts are computed on your own device or in a database row, which is why they are free at any volume.

Cancelling.

Cancel whenever you like, from your account page. Pro runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and then stops — there is no exit fee and nothing to email anyone about. Deleting your account cancels the subscription first, so it can never keep charging you.

Who you actually pay.

Payments are handled by Paddle, who are the merchant of record for SURGE: they take the payment, charge the right tax for where you live, and issue the invoice. SURGE never sees your card details. See the terms and the privacy policy.

If you hit the free limit.

The coach pauses until midnight UTC. Everything else keeps working — you can still run a session, log it, edit your plan and read your progress. A daily cap is not a locked door.
